The Concord Housing + Redevelopment Project Receives Final Approval on Pitman Place

BEDFORD, N.H. – At its recent meeting, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority’s Board of Directors approved the commitment of $ 750,000 for an affordable housing development in Concord that will add 11 rental units to the state’s housing supply. Sponsored by Concord Housing Development Corporation, Pitman Place is a special needs project that will provide 11 affordable one-bedroom apartments for mentally challenged and physically disabled individuals with low- and moderate-incomes.

CONCORD, NH – April 14, 2010 – The Board of Commissioners of the Concord Housing + Redevelopment today announced that Ari Pollack has been elected to a two-year post as chair, and Mary Ann Leon has been elected to a two-year term as vice-chair for the organization.

Concord Housing Development Corporation (CHDC), a 501(c)(3), announced today that it has contributed $20 thousand to Merrimack Valley Daycare Services (MVDS) toward the purchase of a 15-passenger van used to transport children who benefit from daycare and after-school programs in the Concord area.

The Concord Housing + Redevelopment’s ( CH+R ) green summer began with the installation of an accessible garden area at its Kennedy Apartments. Today, CH+R announced that it has begun replacing 7,700 square feet of old, un-insulated roofing with an integrated, high-performance roofing system at the Kennedy Building in Concord.
