Julie Palmeri to Lead Organization Starting January 31st.

The board of directors of Concord Housing + Redevelopment (CH+R) is pleased to announce that Julie Palmeri has been named the organization’s new Executive Director. Palmeri is returning to her hometown of Concord to take over the position from John Hoyt, who announced his retirement after over two decades of service.

CH+R Receives Mainstream Cares Award


Concord Housing + Redevelopment (CH+R) announces that the agency is the recipient of federal funds through the Mainstream program. Ten vouchers totaling over $73,000 will be given out in the initial round of the endeavor. The Mainstream voucher program sets aside funds for eligible disabled families.

Concord Housing + Redevelopment (CH+R) puts CARES Act funds to good use to help city students struggling with access to remote learning.  CH+R has established a new Education Center within its Community Center to ensure children in their housing programs are not left behind because Concord schools have gone to virtual learning.
