CH+R Announces Board of Commissioners

Concord Housing + Redevelopment (CH+R) Executive Director John Hoyt is pleased to announce the 2018-2019 CH+R Board of Commissioner appointments.  Long-standing Commissioner, Jerry Madden has been reelected Chairman, and Jackie Whatmough was elected Vice Chairman.

Past Chairman Attorney Ari Pollack, long-time Concord resident Jim Fowler, and Attorney Peter Burger are returning Commissioners, who will continue to guide the organization’s redevelopment efforts.

Madden has been serving on CH+R’s board for eight years.  He is the past Executive Director of the Concord’s Friends Program and the former Concord Chief of Police.  He is an active Rotarian and a member of the Capital Area Food Program.

Whatmough is retired from the City of Concord, where she served as Director of Human Services for 15 years.  She serves on the board of Family Promise, is the agency coordinator for the Holiday Basket program, and is a member of the Mayor’s Joint Taskforce for Child Hunger.
