Concord Housing + Redevelopment Receives Highest Rating From U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Concord Housing + Redevelopment is proud to announce that it has received a High Performer rating through the Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP). SEMAP enables the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to better manage the Section 8 tenant-based program. It measures performance of public housing agencies and helps HUD identify and target those that may need improvement.
Concord Housing + Redevelopment received a SEMAP score of 100% for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015. As a result of this score, Concord Housing + Redevelopment is designated as a “high performer”.
“We have received a 100% on our SEMAP rating for nine consecutive years now,” says John Hoyt, Executive Director of Concord Housing + Redevelopment. “When we got our first 100% rating back in 2006, we knew it would be the start of great things. Almost one decade later, it remains a validation of all of our hard work. Our staff works tirelessly to provide decent, safe and affordable housing to residents of the Greater Concord area. It is a badge of honor for us to continue to receive this perfect rating.”
Concord Housing + Redevelopment owns and manages 262 public housing units and administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. The organization makes home ownership a reality for many through the Home Ownership Program.
