Concord Housing + Redevelopment Continues Downtown Revitalization Efforts With South Main Street Business

Show Hoppers Dance Boutique Leases Space.
Concord Housing + Redevelopment (CH+R) announces it has leased retail space at its 65 South Main Street property. CH+R recently purchased and renovated the South Main Street property, modernizing space for two retail businesses. Show Hoppers Dance Boutique, opening this month, increases the occupancy level on Main Street and brings another boost to The Capital City’s redevelopment initiatives.

“Through our redevelopment efforts we help to secure opportunities for all levels of commerce while bringing back to life properties that have seen better days,” said John Hoyt, the organization’s executive director.

“Having Show Hoppers Dance Boutique join our South Main Street location will help to bolster the city’s economic growth and enable us to continue to make Concord a welcoming business community.”

Show Hoppers Dance Boutique is a retail store that supplies dancewear apparel,
shoes, and accessories to dancers of all ages. Children can be custom fitted for dance shoes and leotards. The store is also full of one-of-a-kind gifts and specialty items such as hand-made ballet skirts. The business is six years old and is moving to the new location to better serve its customers. The store is now located at 65 South Main Street, across from the Capital Center for the Arts.
