A Decade of High Performance at Concord Housing and Redevelopment
John Hoyt, Executive Director of Concord Housing + Redevelopment (CH+R) proudly announces receiving its 10th consecutive “High Performer” recognition award from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of Public and Indian Housing Real Estate Assessment Center.
The Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) is an annual evaluation of public housing authorities. Concord Housing + Redevelopment received perfect scores in the Financial, Management, and Capital Fund categories.
“A decade of High Performer” status continues to highlight just how diligently our staff works on behalf of individuals in the greater Concord area,” says Hoyt. “We do our best to maintain high standards and it’s gratifying to see the results highlighted in a quantitative way. We want everyone to know just how dedicated we are to providing safe and affordable housing.”
The PHAS score is based on a physical, a management, a financial and a capital fund program assessment. The score helps the delivery of services by enhancing trust in the public housing system. It does this by providing management tools for effectively and fairly measuring the performance of a public housing authority. The PHAS system leads to better management and oversight of public housing.
