Home Ownership Program
Owning a home remains the dream of most Americans and the CH+R Home Ownership program works to make that goal a reality. Concord Housing + Redevelopment and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development want to help public housing and Section 8 Housing residents become homeowners. If you're a public housing or Section 8 Housing resident, you may be able to convert your rent into a mortgage payment. If you currently have a HUD Tenant Based Section 8 Voucher, your may be able to use that voucher toward the purchase of your first home. Homeownership vouchers are intended to assist first-time homeowners with their monthly homeownership expenses, including mortgage payments.
