John Hoyt, Executive Director
Concord is a wonderful place to live. Its popularity, however, has driven up housing costs, which puts pressure on people trying to find affordable places to live.
For nearly 50 years, the Concord Housing & Redevelopment Authority has been delivering on its mission to provide quality, affordable housing for city residents. Initiatives such as development and improvement of our public housing communities; implementation and management of our Section 8 vouchers; a successful Home Ownership Program; and, most recently, IRS Tax Credits have fostered an environment in which anything is possible.
This history of innovation; combined with leadership, modern construction techniques, innovative financing options, and professional management; enables CHA to provide living options for all members of the community. We are recognized nationally by US Housing and Urban Development as a high performing housing authority, and our ability to issue bonds makes us a vital component in the city’s economic engine.
Concord Housing & Redevelopment Authority stands ready to partner with companies and organizations throughout the region to bring financing, construction, renovation and operational practices to housing and neighborhood redevelopment.
